About..
Little Ladybugs Nature Club is a nature enrichment program that offers gentle rhythms for children ages 5-9. The guiding impulse of curiosity and play is nurtured on Mont-Royal Park that offers attunement to season, Self and place. Our practices echo the wild surroundings as anchors throughout our week together. We breathe with the twinkling canopy leaves, we learn to ground ourselves like the root systems of the trees beneath us and we engage collaboratively with our environment and one another like the eco-system of flora and fauna we are amongst. The magic and medicine in this offering is in the strong and intimate community container of only 5 children, a skilled educator and the lush and living environment.
Rooted in tactile play and holistic, sensorial experiences, our pedagogy nurtures children’s growth in ways that are deeply developmentally enriching. Here, the lush, living environment becomes both teacher and mirror—inviting the vast and vibrant terrain within each child to bloom. To fully support this rich learning experience, we keep our groups intentionally small. Our program espouses a highly specialized intimate group container of only five children. This offers your child a resourced, emotionally available educator and the space to cultivate strong, meaningful relationships through magical shared experiences.

She is an accomplished dancer and choreographer, with international performances and research presentations, weaving creativity and presence into nurturing spaces where children grow in confidence and imagination.
Michelle holds degrees in Sculpture & Intermedia (Alberta University of the Arts) and Contemporary Dance (Concordia University), and certifications in yoga (300hr YTT), Somatic Experiencing, and youth-focused frameworks including Labyrinth Theatre Methods and Map of Wholeness. She now offers Little Ladybugs Nature Club, a spacious, nature-based program inspired by Scandinavian Forest School and Waldorf approaches, designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of belonging.
“Research indicates that small group sizes and emotionally attuned educators enhance children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.”
The alchemy of this offering is in the design.
This work is inspired by the need to prioritize systems and structures of care that centre connection with nature, community and caregiver. Childhood is the most crucial time in a persons life to build a holistic sense of Self, healthy attachment styles and relational skills. This offering is an invitation to participate in a container that supports your child’s holistic development through a program that values intimate group size, and a skilled emotionally present educator to attune to and be a mirror for your child’s growth in cultivating a holistic inner orientation.
